In collaboration with the Army Corps of Engineers New England District, the Northeast Ocean Data Portal Working Group developed a new page that provides access to public notices issued by the Corps. The page is available under Current Issues in the menu at the top of the page.
The page lists all active and recent public notices related to regulatory/permitting, engineering/planning, navigation, and programs/project management. The public notices give local, state, and federal agencies, the general public, Native American Tribes, and interested groups and organizations an opportunity to provide comments or concerns to the Corps. The tables on the page display the due dates for public comment and links to pdf versions of the public notices hosted by the Corps.
Portal users can also visit the USACE Permit Finder to view status information for permit decisions in tabular or map formats.
